Celebrating 25 years of ‘Asleep In The Back’

To celebrate 25 years of ‘Asleep In The Back’, elbow will return to Manchester’s Ritz this November for three very special hometown shows on 20th, 21st & 22nd November 2026.

The band will perform ‘Asleep In The Back’ in its entirety, alongside selected B-sides and rarities.

Guy Garvey: “It’s fascinating for us to revisit the atmosphere we created, and the Ritz feels like the perfect setting to capture that atmosphere. A time machine night for us and for the fans. See you there.”

Passport: Back to Our Roots

elbow are pleased to announce they are taking part in ‘Passport: Back to Our Roots’, a nationwide series of one-off intimate gigs, supporting the independent grassroots venues that form the foundations of the UK’s live music scene.

In 2021, the band will play Manchester’s Night & Day Cafe on a date as yet to be confirmed. A minimum donation of £5 will give you and a guest entry into a prize draw for the chance to see elbow live in this cherished venue.
