‘Trying’, the soundtrack to the new Apple TV+ comedy series is out now, featuring nine original songs written by Guy Garvey, I Am Kloot’s Peter Jobson and composer Paul Saunderson (the trio also wrote the score for the show).

A heartfelt new comedy series starring Rafe Spall, Esther Smith and BAFTA Award-winner Imelda Staunton, the complete first season of ‘Trying’ is debuting now on Apple TV+.

Guy, Peter and Paul were charged with creating a brand new bespoke song for each episode of the series, alongside the incidental music, and the result is a characterful collection of original tunes.

“It was a really enjoyable project. We were given a broad canvas to work with and allowed to follow our instincts. The only remit was that each song had to relate to its episode which worked to focus our minds really well. The singers we brought in turned in exceptional performances and we’re so proud of the recordings.”
